Begeren Colony

Summary from Part I:
As Ossus fell under attack by Imperial forces, Jedi Master @Hawking Shatari and his allies, the Jedi Ediren Loreth ( @Joshmaul), Zhrreni ( @Niarra), Caben and Maerin Wysan, and Tela ( @SivWysan), along with the ex-Imperial Quarasha ( @Orell) and a friendly neutral by the name of Spirit ( @LVT), decided to assist Master Warn of the Jedi Colony in the evacuation of her people from the colony's farms. The group convinced a resistant and reluctant Nulaa Ulair to aid in the ferrying of what colonists were immediately available—with her extraction of a promise from them to inform her if they found a Kalikori refugee by the name of "Palakwi"—and departed in search of the largest group of unresponding colonists. After several fierce skirmishes with Imperial droids, the group found the colonists taking shelter from Imperial forces and strafing starfighter cannons in a nearby cave—and caring for an injured Augustus Jaade. Jaade informed the group of Dassalya and Anera's capture by Sith forces; the lightly armed and armoured colonists begged for help returning to the colony. Despite concerns by Jaade and Quarasha for Dassalya's wellbeing, it was ultimately decided that the group would help the colonists before going to her and Anera's aid.

Now it only remains to be seen if they can accomplish both goals before the Sith enact whatever fate they have in store for the captured pair...

I would allow you to bring Quarasha, although I will preface that by saying that the event was built around characters who would have a strong reason for protecting the Jedi colony and/or have concerns about the welfare of Jaade/Anera/Dassalya. If you think that applies to her, then by all means!

But that's okay, because I have something planned!

Faces around the enclave may have noticed Master Jalth frowning over communiques from the Yavin IV-bound Jedi team. A meeting has been set—all available Jedi are requested for a briefing that evening either in-person or via holocall.

7:00 PM (PST) start time, folks! Git yer Jedi on. This event ties in with the new content, so please keep this in mind if you wish to avoid spoilers! It's also your chance to decide OOCly what role you'd like the Custodum to play on Ossus. So if that's important to you, be there or be square!

Oh! Goodness, I should read more carefully. A bit of a conundrum, yes. How is everyone feeling about a two week pushback? Would folks rather RP post-Ossus and then jump back in time the week after for Geek's event?

I'd already roleplayed some of the fallout of the revelation of the Ossus colony with Dassalya, but I'm content to roll back the clock or bring other characters to join in! Count me there.

I haven't come across anything to further confirm or edit what has already been said, but I can say that I would love to run a follow up event at an upcoming Jedi Night. Unfortunately, due to the impending holidays, I won't be able to make it this Thursday (like I was hoping), but I'd like to run it sooner rather than later to capitalize on any sparked interests. (And, in case it needs to be clarified, my interest has certainly been piqued by this update and I'd be down for additional events.)
