I went to look up this page again, and noticed it went down. Here is the page on the Wayback Machine if anyone was interested in the original fanon.

I also found out about this lore oddity: The Dahgee Jedi. They're another planetary sect like the Greens, who wear stripes to signify loyalty to the Republic. It's a nice little clue to some possible Jedi symbolism, where stripes might represent loyalty.

There are also the Norris Robes which I forgot about, but are a nice reminder of yet another Buddhism reference in Jedi symbolism and philosophy.

A previously sealed archive wing in the Temple ruins on Coruscant seems to be seeing some activity again. Traditionally restricted to only Jedi Masters, those Masters with access will notice that the wing is being slowly restored, piece by piece, as if someone is coming in odd hours to do small amounts of work at a time. Fallen datastacks are put back in place, rubble cleared, and systems slowly come back online over time.

At the center of this archive is a medium-sized cairn made from fallen chunks of mortar and stone. Upon and around it, small candles and bowls of incense may be found, their wicks burned down and traces of fragrance still in the air. This small memorial grows even as the wing itself is restored.

In a perhaps unrelated event, Senate and Jedi records show that newly appointed Jedi Master Bren Akket has been given recent clearance to the area.

Guh! :wtf: So I finally got most of the way through putting up the first mission. Technically the thread is not finished. I want to put in a crawl blurb, some explanations, and eventually the links the next missions... that will take a bit more time. However the dialog and options are all posted if not all tested. :umm:

Next parts of the project will be working on The Approach which will be the first glimpse of Themaya and Downtime which is a side mission where you get to have a chat with a companion before heading to Themaya. I'm not going to lie. It's going to take a lot more time and effort for those two missions. I've got some pretty ambitious plans for downtime and work decided that I need to start working more, so it will be harder to write even The Approach out. Sadly writing at home is... difficult. :p

Nevertheless, I am honing my writing and finally kicking down that writers's blockade. Hopefully those that have enough pity to play through these installments as they come will enjoy bits of it, and if not at least I can say I tried.

That being said, I am slowly teaching myself to give the Devs more slack on this writing a whole planet story thing.  :coffee:
Risha: Enough funny business, everyone get ready. This is going to be a wild run and that's if we make all the objectives.

Guss: Yeah, yeah, just wait a minute will ya? I gotta beat the Captain at this hand first.

Guss gestured back to the forgotten table and game of Sabaac. He laid his cards on the table triumphant and convinced of his win.

Guss: I accept all major forms of payment credit chits, bank transfers--

He was abruptly cut off by a flourish and revealing of the Smuggler's hand.

Smuggler: Sorry Guss. Guess you'll have to wait until the job is over to get paid.

Guss' mouth flapped in shock and disbelief as he looked at the table.

Guss: But, but... I had you. I...

Smuggler: Sorry buddy. Shouldn't count your Orochicks before they hatch.

The captain rose from the table and surveyed the crew.

Smuggler: Already everybody, let's make some credits.

I want to speak with Risha
Spoiler: show
Smuggler: Hold on Risha, I want to speak to you while the others get ready.

Risha: Me? Don't worry I'll give you more information about the mission when we get there.

Smuggler: That's not all I wanted to talk about Risha.

Risha sighed.

Risha: Alright.

The others left to make their preparations leave the two alone in the lounge.

I want to speak with Guss
Spoiler: show
Smuggler: Hold on Guss, I want to speak to you while the others get ready.

Guss: Sure thing Captain. Hey... wait a minute. If this is about those cases of Kaltavian Dung Beetles that got on board. I didn't know they were going to switch packages on me.

Smuggler: Wait, what?

Guss: Oh... that wasn't what you wanted to talk about.

Guss shuffled nervously under the Smuggler's gaze.

Smuggler: We apparently have a lot to talk about.

The others slipped out leaving Guss to his latest caper as the time approached to head to Themaya.

I want to speak with Corso

Smuggler: Hey Corso, we need to talk while the others get ready.

Corso: Uh, me? Sure thing Captain.

The others left the two to their conversation and made what preparations they could in the time available.

I want to speak with Bowdaar
Spoiler: show
Smuggler: Hey Bowdaar, can we talk while the others are getting ready?

Bowdaar: <Yes but not for long. I have to prepare.>

Smuggler: Yeah, I know you're eager to get off the ship, Bowdaar.

Bowdaar settled in a bit as the others left to make preparations.

I want to speak with Akaavi
Spoiler: show
Smuggler: Hey Akaavi. I need to speak with you.

Akaavi: Fine, but hurry. The task ahead will not be easy and I must prepare.

Smuggler: Yeah, can't keep those worthy foes waiting, huh?

Although the Smuggler made light of her need to hone her skills through combat, Akaavi had become accustomed the Captain's nonchalance. She merely folded her arms and waited for them to speak as the others left.

[Skip straight to the mission to Themaya]

You Completed All of Risha's Companion Missions
Spoiler: show
The smuggler cleared their throat before they mumbled under their breath.

Smuggler: Yeah, nevermind that my skull was one of the ones he tried to crack.

Risha pretended like she didn't hear the comment and continued.

Risha: Besides the truce is bound to break eventually. We might as well get our money while the getting is good. Especially since the Republic's not going to have money to throw around forever.

Emperor: Battle for Dune has quite a nice soundtrack imo. All three factions were done by different composers, so they all have distinct styles, which is cool! Frank Klepacki did House Atreides, David Arkenstone did House Harkonnen, and Jarrid Mendelson did House Ordos.

Here are a few to start!

Except Dassalya has a much warmer and fuller smile than Gong!

As soon as I saw Maurer's smile, I went "oh yeah. That's Tamminick." He's a little older, now, than Maurer's pic shows.

Except age Dhillon another thirty years. Heh.

Thanks to @Dassalya for inviting a Motley Crew out for some Prelude role-play tonight.

You probably thought you like some good banter, role-play. I mean, it's fun, right? Wow, they're still going. Okay, that's a lot of cross-talking at once. Wait, now they're back on that topic? Maybe if everyone just paused for a mom... SHUT UP!

Thanks as well to @Cyone for finally reminding everyone Jaade isn't always in fact the biggest asshole in the room. (No, really, that's a compliment!)
