Seeking Master/Padawan or any structured Jedi Clan.

Hello, everyone.

While currently I am new to Swtor. I am certainly not new to the realm of SW RP.
Currently my main is a lvl 19 Guardian.
I was hoping to seek out someone able to RP the role of master for my Padawan or a clan that offers such.
I think it is one of the most intricate aspects to the SW and especially Jedi history.
If anyone is interested or a clan can offer such, please let me know.

Thank you.

Also wouldn't mind a squad/clangor my trooper alt.
I have a interest in the character due to my military background.

First off, welcome to the insane asylum. We're the inmates who run the place. *grins* I jest, of course. But still.

For Jedi - and I'm totally not biased here - a good place would be the Jedi Custodum. We hold the "Jedi Nights" on Tython on Thursdays, where Iaera (our GM) or a guest speaker leads discussions on the Force, the history of the Jedi Order and the galaxy at large, lightsaber forms, so on. I'm sure we can find folks who'll take your Padawan on for training.

For troopers - the guild I've been seeing of late that takes military types is Section 8. Might want to give those folks a look.

You joined, awesome!  :whee:
I have to agree with Joshmaul (Edit: Oh brain, you failed me.), those two are very good guilds to look into for your characters - and if not there's plenty of others around here as well. Hope you enjoy your stay! :)

Now that Joshmaul has been mistaken for me, I guess I should make an appearance in the thread..lol

Funny this post should come along, I was just thinking last night while at work about posting a thread to gage interest in a server wide Padawan Tournament.  The fabled tournament took place yearly at the temple and was the way Padawan's were paired with Masters.  I thought this would be an awesome event to bolster Jedi RP in general.

But to answer your post, Jedi Night on Tython is an excellent place to start.

Wow, Padawan tourney! Heyyy! I'd go for that even though I probably most likely already have a Master!

Yes, please Urso!

I'd be happy to help you organize it as well!

I really have no idea how I mistook you two honestly. I blame the Gremlins, they did it. (Sorry again, mind must have been off frolicking across a daisy field or something.)
And that actually sounds like a lot of fun. I'd love to see what you guys do with it. If you need some help I'll lend a hand as well, though I'm not good with planning events.

That's an awesome idea! I've been meaning to give Master/Padawan RP another solid kick, but haven't had the time, so if you've got something in the works that's awesome!

And for Brood, welcome! As mentioned, please stop by the Jedi Temple grounds Thursday evening; it's the best way to mingle and get a foot into the Jedi RP circles.

There are a few different guilds who cater to different tastes. I run the afore-mentioned Custodum, who are dedicated to representing heavy-duty card-carrying members of the Jedi Order. I am not sure if Jedi Covenant is still active, as I haven't seen them for a couple of weeks now, but they focus on a theme of hunting down Dark Siders, I think. There are other guilds as well, who occasionally have members present at Jedi Night, so whatever variety of Jedi RP you're looking for I'm sure you can find something you like!

We're active to a degree, some members are just taking a RL break so we haven't progressed any of our primary story missions. Once they're back however it should be back in full swing.
