Basically what it says on the tin. I would be happy to run these for people if they are interested!

Scheduling being difficult and all, this could be fun?

I would be interested in this just to see how such an event goes but how would rolls be done?

Sounds like fun! Haven't gotten to use the Base 100 system for anything yet.

Sounds interesting but how will you handle rolls?

We've actually done these before, in posts like this old one: http://begerencolony.org/forum/index.php?topic=628.0

It's useful to use http://invisiblecastle.com/roller as a dice roller in these cases, since they give a link in which you can look back to 'prove' the roll - avoids cheating.

That was the question that came to my mind, how do you know you're being told the truth and not "oh, I keep getting 80+ rolls". Not that anyone here would resort to such methods, of course, but still, it's nice to have something keeping score.

So no "rounds" or anything. Just RP as normal until you come to a point where you need to roll or the GM steps in directly?

I would think like... establish an initiative at the beginning of the thread and work from there.

Ok, sounds good to me. Would we have to think up traits?

People could choose to run them with or without traits, or with predetermined traits, or something along those lines?

I assume this would use the Base 100 traits here, though we'll
need to know which of the options, if any to use.

On the Initiative question, an initial roll for the order sounds good- though the issue of posting-times may come up similarly
to Coruscant.  While clearly intended to be a slower/more relaxed pace, would still be frustrating if the story were delayed
a week by one person who unexpectedly vanishes in the middle of combat.  My suggestion would be for the GM to establish,
from the start a reasonable time-limit everyone considers fair (1-2 days, perhaps?) for combat/turn based posts.  Out of
Combat posts can be more flexible, since there is no post order.

If someone did miss their turn and was skipped, they could perhaps have the options of saying they "held" their action, acting
later in the initiative term if its the same round, or were simply skipped and go normally the next round if the entire round has passed.
