Lich Queen

Realm of Kizengir

The Arsatum Kizengirum (), or Realm of Kizengir, is a highly repressive and feudalistic empire controlled by hedonistic lich queens and necromantic nobles. At its head is Empress Zakiti Ia Sudassani, an ascendant lich of near-divine power who is worshipped by her subjects as a goddess.

I had the idea a few days ago that underwater RP could be super interesting if done well, but I don't think i'd ever be able to do any lol. It still makes for good artsy/worldbuilding material tho, especially since underwater combat has only been touched upon a few times in Star Wars before.

Republic Combat Diver and SIS Operational Swimmer

Aquatic combat is a very unique experience, and soldiers require significant training in order to perform effectively in such conditions. Beneath the surface you're allowed immense mobility, and yet greatly limited in speed. Further complicating matters is the wide variation of conditions in aquatic locations, from crystal clear oases to murky toxic abysses.

Weapons have to be specially designed for submarine operation, as standard blasters will short out and basic slugthrower projectiles are simply halted in their tracks. Even properly modified weapons such as the amphibious CZR-90 blaster series tend to have a very short range, blaster bolts will fizzle out after less than fifty meters and flechettes or spearguns fare little better. Specialized aquatic blasters are the weapon of choice for most troops, but many specialists and SIS agents prefer flechette guns or sonic weapons.

Most operations performed by Republic combat divers are clandestine in nature, such as infiltrating Imperial compounds undetected by sea or assisting SIS agents in specific tasks. Larger aquatic task forces can sometimes be found defending strategic positions or salvage crews on aquatic worlds such as Manaan, Dac, and Glee Anselm when necessary.

One of the most well-known underwater operations in recent history occurred during the Battle of Druckenwell, mere months before the Sacking of Coruscant. The 921st Tidehunter Regiment became infamous among Sith commanders for their innovative marine tactics, leaving entire city sections undefended only to reappear out of the sea en masse after the enemy had passed and quickly create a pocket. While the battle was eventually won by Imperial forces, it's said that the Moff in charge of the operation was driven insane by the Tidehunters' constant harassment of supplies and rear echelon troops.

Keeper of Alziriyah

The Keepers of Alziriyah (حراس الزيرية) are a sect of reclusive and immensely skilled mages charged with guarding the Alziriyah Athenium, a collection of forbidden knowledge and artifacts located on the isolated desert world of Torqa. Torqa orbits a large blue star hidden away in deep space, its surface blasted by immense magically charged sandstorms at almost all times, making it the perfect location to store the Dominion's most dangerous oddities and lore.

Ardiya Spacer

Spacers are those who spend most of their time wandering between stars, a lifestyle which is often romanticized in the Dominion. The term is most often associated with smugglers, mercenaries, and other outlaws, but can also be applied to scholars and adventurers among other things.

Voidcaster

Controlling and manipulating magical energy takes immense skill, concentration, and knowledge, but provides a massive advantage to anyone who can master it. Mages are employed all across the galaxy as celestial navigators, clerics, combat specialists, enchanters, healers, and augurs to name a few things. Many also work on their own as adventurers, scholars, or even mercenaries.

Voidcasters are one of the most common types of mage, relying on raw magical energy to force their will upon the material world. Pure magic when used in such a way generally has a distinctive violet or indigo glow.

DLA-13 Blaster Rifle

DLA/S-13 Blaster Carbine

DLA/DM-13 Marksman Rifle

The DLA-13 is the Sith Empire's basic service rifle, essentially a modernized version of the tried and tested DLA-4 pulse-wave gun which was used to clear the jungles of Dromund Kaas centuries ago. The DLA-13 is lighter and less bulky compared to the Republic's standard issue H-411, but still manages to pack a comparable punch thanks to its powerful gas conversion enabler. The rifle is designed for use with high-power gasses such as the Empire's standard red-coloured sig mixture or green-coloured prothium gas, and loses a small amount of efficiency with weaker gasses like eleton or orveth.

The DLA-13 is highly configurable for a variety of different roles thanks to its modular design, and can be fitted with many different attachments from grenade launchers to forward grips. The DLA/S carbine variant is commonly found among combat engineers, support elements, airborne troops, grenadiers, and as a backup weapon for vibroblade specialists. The DLA/DM marksman configuration is often used by scouts, intelligence operatives, and infantry sharpshooters.

Private Phaedra Vere, 27th Airborne Division

Assault pioneers are soldiers responsible for the construction and destruction of battlefield obstacles at the front lines. They differ from combat engineers in that they aren't organized into separate units nor are they equipped for larger tasks, rather they exist to give other units their own limited organic support while engaged in combat. Assault pioneers are often equipped with thorium charges, grenade launchers, droid poppers, wire cutters, spades, thermite, landmines, and many other tools depending on the situation.

Jedi Knight Ahura Tehrani and Jedi Shadow Qelian Saida, 3 ATC

There is no contemplation, only duty.

The Jedi Order is revered across the Republic as a symbol of peace and justice. Unfortunately, even such paragons of virtue often require less than respectable methods to enforce peace throughout the galaxy.

Jedi Shadows, the Order's secret police, are one such example of this fact. Serving under the Council of First Knowledge, these highly specialized Sentinels are responsible for covertly seeking out and destroying dark siders or their influence. Evil holocrons will be shattered, alchemical beasts slain, and their Sith creators hunted to the ends of the galaxy if necessary to ensure the safety of the Republic's citizens.

Shadows often come dangerously close to the dark side. Because of this, each one is individually selected and tested by the Council of First Knowledge before entering service, though even they can't foresee everything. Many Shadows become paranoid, zealous, aggressive, or socially detached while performing their duties, and as such are generally only assigned in dire circumstances.

Another slightly less sanctioned example is that of the so-called "Sixth Line," a small militant sect who believe in unwavering service to the Republic similar to the Mandalorian Wars' Revanchists. Their members dance with darkness regularly, using their powers in ways that the rest of the Order would likely find distasteful or outright dangerous. Sixth Line adherents usually serve in elite strike teams or as force-sensitive spies, primarily working alongside the Republic Military and Strategic Information Service.

While their numbers have always been dwindling due to corruption and casualties, today the Sixth Line is almost extinct, with most of their members having been killed during the catastrophic Invasion of Ziost or exiled during Chancellor Saresh's subsequent political purges. The few who remain fight on, however, in the hopes that the end of this war may be within reach.

327th Marine Regiment

Victory through metal, glory through mettle.

The Sith Empire's 327th Marine Regiment serves Lord Saviri Cosac, stationed aboard the Harrower-class dreadnought Concordat. Their primary mission is to protect Saviri and her Reclamation Service allies while on expeditions or artifact retrieval missions, often having to battle hostile wildlife and spirits alongside the Republic's various covert ops units.

251st Special Recon Regiment

Doubt is for the dying.

The Republic's 251st Special Reconnaissance Regiment was created in 25 BTC from the remains of the 3rd Marine Raiders and the 109th Force Recon Battalion, two elite units which were nearly destroyed in the Battle of Begeren. While created too early to be officially incorporated into Republic Special Forces, the 251st still pulls its recruits from Advanced Training Program graduates and has a reputation to match. The 251st often acts alongside SIS agents and Jedi knights to wreak havoc behind enemy lines.

The Golden Drexl

The Clairvoyant-class Light Corvette is a common civilian starship manufactured by the Rendili Vehicle Corporation, widely known as the basis for the Jedi Order's iconic Defenders and Paladins.

Al-Jarrah Assault Chariot

(Unshielded version that is easier to see)

Chariots are heavily armed and armoured combat vehicles used across the galaxy for frontline combat, indirect fire support, and everything in between. Most modern chariots use lev engines for propulsion, allowing them great mobility over all terrain and in any weather conditions.

The Al-Jarrah Assault Chariot is a 9 meter long beast equipped with hardlight shield projectors and thick adamantine plating, making it immensely difficult to destroy from the front. It straddles the line between a battle chariot and an infantry fighting vehicle, having dedicated transport space for up to six infantry in the rear alongside its weaponry. Its turret is designed to fit a number of different armaments from light particle culverins to heavy plasma mortars.

Order of the Navy Captain

Naval officers in the Mantle require extensive schooling to become masters in void combat, and those who enter a naval academy without any sort of prior knowledge are likely to fail quickly. This, combined with the exclusivity and high cost of many Dominion military colleges, means that the majority of successful officers come from nobles or rich military families who can afford prior education in military matters.

Tayyibah Armoury

The weaponsmithing guild of the tropical world Tayyibah is renowned throughout the Dominion for their rugged weapon and light vehicle designs. They are primarily known for items such as the Type-199 Isfet lance, the Type-11 Python heavy pistol, and the Type-41 Talwar-pattern jetbike.

Baroness Zhaleh

Pirates and privateers are common throughout the galaxy, preying on civilian transports and hiding in places where security forces don't dare pursue. While some bands work as mercenaries to raid and intimidate any clients' rivals, or even to explore new areas of space, most are just in it for the loot. Despite the obvious threat they pose, the rebellious life of a pirate is often romanticized in literature and poetry.

One of the most famous bandits in Dominion space is the vicious pirate queen known as Baroness Zhaleh, who controls a small fleet of loyal ships and makes her home in a dangerous empyrean storm.

rejected descriptions:

What did one psionic shipwrecked pirate say to the other? I haven't got a crew!
A heretic, a pirate, and a busty wench walk into a tavern. She asks for a drink.
I LIKE YER HAT BY DA WAY.
It's generally recommended not to place a personality matrix in the aftward rooms of a ship, else you might get a stern talking to.
By the powers! There be all manner o' queer beasties in this hold!
It's often said that piracy is addictive - once you lose your first hand, you're hooked.
"So, you're desperate and you have a lot of money. I like where this is going." - a smuggler
And it is, it is a glorious thing to be a pirate queen!

Viceroy 6mm Rail Revolver

In the time before particle lances became standard-issue, various types of ballistic weapons were the norm for military forces. Even today weapons such as railguns, coilguns, and firearms remain very common among civilians due to their much lower cost and far easier maintenance compared to energy weapons.

The break-action Viceroy 6mm was a standard offhand weapon for Mantle navy officers until roughly 250 years ago, when beam pistols began to replace ballistic weapons. A very large number of them survive today as heirlooms, in use by civilians, or even still wielded by officers with a more traditional style.

Archangel

Archangels are the best of the best within the Mantle. Equipped with ornate hardlight crowns, point defense gauntlets, and agile jetpacks, they're more than capable of dealing with any threat on land or in the air.

Sacred Forge of Khadija

The Sacred Forges of Khadija on the jungle world of Anat mostly produce high-quality armour for the Dominion, including the advanced Curtana suits worn by most Inquisitors and the powered Ancile armour donned by Justiciar knights among others. They also produce weapons on occasion, however, most notably the Mantle's Type-111 Namir lance and the stealthy Type-259 Axis plasma pistol.

The forgemasters of Khadija are unique in that they craft items primarily for worship rather than profit. To them, the act of creation is a form of meditation which helps them commune with their goddesses.

Type-111 Namir Carbine

The Namir is a lightweight particle lance designed for support and rear echelon troops within the Mantle. While it doesn't have the same stopping power as a Type-199, nor is it actually any smaller as the name would suggest, it is significantly lighter and uses less battery power per shot. This makes it a better choice for mortar teams, scouts, provosts, field doctors, and other troops who have to carry heavy gear all the time.
